FABTECH is the largest metal fabrication expo in North America, annually hosting over 1,500 exhibitors and 40,000 visitors. It serves as a one-stop venue for visitors looking to explore the latest technological advancements and attend educational sessions focused on improving productivity and profitability. This year, FABTECH will be hosted in Orlando, FL for the first time from October 15-17th, and more than 200 exhibitors in its metal stamping section are expected.

Showcasing a Full Stamping Line

SEYI is excited to return to FABTECH 2024 to unveil its latest innovations and technologies. A fully operational progressive stamping line will be the centerpiece of the booth. The line will have a SEYI SDN1, 121ton Gap Frame Direct-Drive Servo Press, integrated with a COE Feedline, complete with an uncoiler, straightener and servo feeder.

The line will be running full parts to demonstrate the modern capabilities of SEYI and COE’s manufacturing solutions.

The parts being produced will be a relay base for an electrical control component found in electric vehicles. The progressive die to create these parts is highly sophisticated, featuring 20 stations and in-die assembly. The SEYI SDN1 servo press will utilize a customized stroke profile to optimize the production of the parts. SEYI’s sales team will be on hand to provide live presentations, offering in-depth explanations of the demo die and the stamping process.

SEYI and COE will be exhibiting its leading metal stamping technology at booth S28025 and S28019. The booth will be located in the North/South building on the far left side of the Metalform sector.

SEYI-America will publicly showcase its newest gap frame direct-drive servo press for the first time in Orlando at booth S28025. The SDN1 is equipped with a new-generation direct-drive servo motor, giving it the power and precision to handle various stamping operations. Its energy-efficient design with built-in power management system keeps operational costs 20%~30% lower than a traditional gap frame press (SEYI’s inhouse assumption). The SDN1 is equipped with seven default motion profiles, a Free Motion fully programmable profile, an Electronic Overload Protection (EOLP) system, a tonnage monitor, die protection inputs, and programmable limit switch outputs, a handy pulser wheel. The SDN1 series is available in various tonnages, ranging from 88 to 275 tons.

Visitors will be able to view and operate an SDN1-121, which will be integrated with a COE feedline running full parts.

A COE-llaboration

This year marks a significant milestone as SEYI partners with COE Feedlines for the first time, creating a comprehensive, one-stop-shop experience for metal stampers. To leverage the partnership, an integrated stamping line that seamlessly combines SEYI’s high-performance press machine with COE’s advanced feeding technology will be showcased.. Visitors will be able to view and interact with a modern stamping line featured in the booth.
