SEYI will exhibit at MF-TOKYO 2025, with a focus on forming solutions for metallic bipolar plates
As the global push toward carbon neutrality accelerates, the rise of the new energy vehicle market is reshaping the manufacturing landscape. In response, the industry is embracing high-efficiency, digital, and energy-saving technologies to reduce carbon emissions at every stage of production.
Metal forming equipment plays a pivotal role in manufacturing critical components for new energy applications. At MF-TOKYO 2025—Japan’s premier metalforming exhibition—SEYI (4533TT) will showcase its commitment to sustainable innovation. Join SEYI from July 16–19, 2025, as we debut a live demonstration of our SD straight-side crank servo press, equipped with a metallic bipolar plate mold—a first-time exhibition highlighting our capabilities in high-precision thin-sheet processing. This presentation reflects SEYI’s latest advancements in green energy manufacturing and our proactive approach to supporting the low-carbon transformation of the metalforming industry.
SEYI has refined the structure and performance of its SD Series straight-side servo presses, tailoring them for ultra-thin material forming and fine embossing, which are critical for producing high-precision components such as flow plates for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. The showcased press features a high-rigidity frame that offers several times the stiffness of conventional models, greatly enhancing processing stability and precision. It is powered by a high-torque servo motor that boosts energy conversion efficiency while helping manufacturers reduce electricity costs. Additional features such as an intuitive user interface and a circulating lubrication system improve usability and environmental performance, while integration with SEYI’s SIMS+ Smart Information Management System enables real-time equipment monitoring, workflow optimization, and increased overall production efficiency.

This exhibition will highlight the servo press’s performance in processing metallic bipolar plates molds, particularly its ability to stamp ultra-fine flow channel textures, control forming depth, and handle continuous production processes. The demonstration showcases how the SD servo press meets the demanding requirements of bipolar plate flow channel forming for fuel cells. Through this exhibition and live demonstration, SEYI not only underscores the advanced capabilities of its servo presses in high-precision metal forming but also affirms its commitment to upgrading stamping equipment and integrating key new energy component processes.
Ms. Clarie Kuo, Chairman of SEYI, stated: "In recent years, SEYI has actively invested in applications related to new energy vehicles, continuously collaborating with international customers to develop manufacturing processes for key components of fuel cells and electric vehicles. Moving forward, we will remain focused on core technologies such as intelligent control and automation integration, further advancing our R&D priorities of automation, intelligence, and low-carbon innovation. Our goal is to support global customers in transitioning to high-efficiency, low-carbon manufacturing, thereby driving green production and industrial upgrading."
We warmly invite all industry professionals to visit SEYI at Booth E7-08 (East Hall) from July 16–19, 2025, at MF-TOKYO. Our expert technical team will be on-site to provide hands-on equipment demonstrations and real-time consultations. Media representatives and partners are welcome to schedule meetings and explore the future of intelligent, efficient, and low-carbon manufacturing with us.
