XIE YI TECH MACHINERY (CHINA) successfully held the “2026 XIE YI TECH MACHINERY (CHINA) Technology Day & Hydrogen Fuel Cell Metal Bipolar Plate Precision Stamping Seminar” on March 27, 2026, in Kunshan, China. The event brought together over 80 industry professionals and customers from across China, including experts and representatives from fuel cell components, materials, tooling, and precision manufacturing sectors. Industry Experts Gather to Explore Market Trends and Advanced Precision Stamping Technologies

The seminar featured keynote presentations, technical insights, live demonstrations, and in depth industry exchanges, offering a comprehensive view of the latest achievements and future directions in precision forming of metal bipolar plates.Highlights included:

  • Liu Mingxing, from Metal Forming Intelligent Manufacturing (MFC), sharing insights into China’s hydrogen energy market trends and current development status.
  • Du Yongxiang, Vice President of Zhizhen Co., Ltd., presenting technological breakthroughs in high power fuel cell metal bipolar plates.
  • Jilu Jun, Vice President of DIJET Japan, introducing significant advancements in tooling materials and efficiency, developed in collaboration with TOWA.
  • Professor Liu Yuqi, from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, showcasing simulation driven optimization of precision forming for metal bipolar plates and heat sinks, enabling efficient mass production of ultra thin sheets.
  • Dr. Yang Cheng Yu, from National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, sharing expertise on precision forming processes for bipolar plates, integrating CAE simulation with SEYI servo presses to optimize die structures, control thinning rates in critical areas, and ensure stable forming of complex flow channels.

High Precision, High Rigidity SDK1 Servo Press Engineered for Metal Bipolar Plate Stamping

Mr. Lin Ming Yang, Director of SEYI Machinery, introduced the SDK1 Series high rigidity, high precision servo press, purpose built for plate forging and precision forming applications—making it an ideal solution for hydrogen fuel cell metal bipolar plate production. Building upon the strengths of conventional servo presses, the SDK1 series delivers comprehensive upgrades: 

  • Exceptional Structural Rigidity: With rigidity up to 1/36,000 and deformation ≤ 0.03 mm, the frame’s tensile deformation is reduced by over 40% compared to conventional straight side presses. This ensures stable support for ultra thin metal forming in the 0.075–0.1 mm range.
  • Ultra High Precision Control: Equipped with zero clearance slide guides, the press achieves JIS Special Grade accuracy, ensuring smooth slide motion and reliable control of critical requirements—flow channel depth ±0.02 mm and warpage ≤ 2 mm.
  • Energy Efficient, High Performance: Featuring a press dedicated “high torque low speed” servo motor, supports power leveling and regenerative energy recovery, and significantly reduces energy consumption—ideal for long hour continuous mass production.

Live Demonstration of Metallic Bipolar Plate Stamping

Live Demo with SDK1-160.Attendees were invited to witness a live demonstration using the SDK1 160 servo press, processing 0.1 mm stainless steel metal bipolar plates. The demonstration showcased the press’s outstanding performance in micro channel stamping, forming depth control, and ultra thin sheet processing, allowing participants to experience the advantages of SEYI servo press technology firsthand.
