SEYI's Blanking Line Supports Indonesia Japanese Manufacturer Mitsuyoshi
PT. Mitsuyoshi Manufacturing Indonesia (MMI), an Indonesian subsidiary of the Japanese company J's Factory, was established in 1996. In its first plant in the West Java, Cikarang area, the company initially focused on the manufacturing of plastic molded components. As its local business continued to expand, the company gradually extended its operations into metal forming.
Located in Purwakarta, Indonesia, Mitsuyoshi's second plant specializes in the production of metal components, including large-tonnage stamping operations with press capacities ranging from 400 to 1,600 ton. The facility also offers welding and die manufacturing capabilities.
The blanking line, consisting of a SEYI press and peripheral automation equipment, is primarily used for blanking thick high-strength steel sheets. The press features an 800-ton (8,000 kN) capacity and operates at speeds exceeding 80 SPM. The complete line includes a decoiler, straightener, feeder, conveyor, and stacking system, with a maximum line speed of 90 meters per minute. President Director Kimura Masaru commented, "Since this blanking line began operation, the supply of blank materials has become much more stable and efficient. Previously, we had relied on outside suppliers for our blank materials."
Plant Manager Slamet Haryanto also noted that, "Even today, whenever we require technical support, SEYI responds quickly, with assistance provided through its local distributor." He added that the introduction of the blanking line "has greatly improved the supply of blank materials for our stamping production lines."
In 2012, Mitsuyoshi established its second plant in Indonesia, dedicated primarily to metal stamping and related manufacturing processes. Today, its products are supplied to customers throughout Indonesia and around the world, with major clients including YAMAHA, SONY, PANASONIC, TOYOTA, HONDA, NISSAN, TOSHIBA, HITACHI, and MITSUBISHI.
Building an In-House Blanking Supply System

As business continued to grow, Mitsuyoshi recognized the need to improve the supply of blank materials for its stamping operations. "The purpose of introducing this blanking line was to supply blank materials to our stamping lines more efficiently," said President Director Kimura Masaru.
Slamet Haryanto, the Plant Manager responsible for the investment project, recalled, "Before selecting SEYI presses, we evaluated equipment from several manufacturers. Our research showed that SEYI presses offered outstanding durability." Based on the evaluation, Mitsuyoshi ultimately selected SEYI presses for the project.

Looking back on the installation process, Plant Manager Slamet Haryanto explained that the blanking line and its peripheral equipment were installed within the existing factory, requiring extensive facility modifications. These included raising the roof height, constructing a reinforced foundation suitable for the press, and completing mechanical and electrical installation work. After installation and trial production, the new line significantly accelerated the supply of blank materials to the stamping operation.
Local Support Strengthens Confidence for Future Investment
Plant Manager Slamet Haryanto also noted that, "Even today, whenever we require technical support, SEYI responds quickly, with assistance provided through its local distributor." He added that the introduction of the blanking line "has greatly improved the supply of blank materials for our stamping production lines."
SEYI's after-sales service network in Indonesia, supported by its local distributor, has also strengthened Mitsuyoshi's confidence in future equipment investments. President Director Kimura Masaru concluded, "We have even greater confidence in choosing SEYI presses as our equipment investment for the next stage of expansion."
