The automotive industry is considered one of the most challenging industries for metal stampers. With high demands and a constant need for new technology, the balance between innovation and profitability proves to be a formidable task for manufacturers.
Despite the challenges,
Bojun Technologies has found its footing in the industry and become one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers.
Founded in 2004, Bojun Technology is headquartered in Kunshan, Jiangsu, China, and is home to over 2,500 employees. With two R&D centers and 10 production bases in China, the company achieved a milestone by going public on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's Growth Enterprise Market in 2021.
Providing Comprehensive Automotive Solutions
Specializing in the precision manufacturing of automotive parts and molds, Bojun Technology offers comprehensive solutions for automotive components. Its diverse product range finds extensive application in vehicles manufactured by globally recognized companies such as Volkswagen, Ford, General Motors, SAIC Motor, Dongfeng Motor, Geely, Great Wall Motors, and Li Auto.
Bojun has installed flexible production lines featuring SEYI presses integrated with robotics to respond to the changing automotive market and achieve patch production transformation. Additionally, to meet market lightweighting demands, Bojun Technology conducted extensive analysis and research on lightweight materials applications. New advancements, such as hot forming and laser welding, have been introduced to meet the stringent requirements for lightweighting in the industry.
SEYI Assisting in Bojun's Success
Since the beginning of their collaboration in 2006, SEYI and Bojun Technology have concentrated on refining stamping processes, press structures, safety production, and press accuracy stability. This partnership has involved a joint effort to enhance numerous press designs, prioritizing the safety, stability, and reliability of the production process. Notably, SEYI's after-sales service has played a crucial role in facilitating seamless installations and operations for Bojun over the past two decades.
Bojun Technology has elevated its manufacturing capabilities by incorporating SEYI's stamping production lines, amassing a total of 38 stamping presses within its plants. These presses include
C-frames, unitized frames (
SNS2,
SLS2), and straight-side presses (
SAG2,
SLG2), ranging from 80 to 2000 tons. Among these, the straight-side presses combine into 4 sets of
progressive die stamping lines, while the c-frame press line, equipped with five robotic arms, specializes in producing automotive seat slides.
SEYI Presses Integration Into the Smart Factory
One significant factor in Bojun Technology's adoption of SEYI production lines is its ability to connect with a
centralized control system. This sophisticated system unifies all data related to press and interface equipment statuses, transforming the manufacturing facility into a smart factory. Furthermore, relevant records such as tonnage protection, die protection, motor status, slide temperature, lubrication system, and power consumption are traceable, and an automated monitoring system effectively reduces the risk of human errors during operation. Through remote diagnosis, Bojun Technology can save time and costs on troubleshooting, leading to increased production efficiency by reducing downtime.
In the future, Bojun Technology will continue to promote innovation, surpass customer expectations, and strive to become the world's most influential automotive parts supplier. It will deepen its presence in the automotive industry, seize opportunities in new energy vehicle development, increase research and development investment, optimize product processes, and provide customers with products that offer core competitiveness.
